This wasn't a good experience when I came back to Singapore.
On 15-Jan at around 9am, three of us having done the network upgrade job, we patronized Yee Shun Coffee Shop at Toa Payoh, just beside the Toa Payoh Public Library. Having ordered our drinks and breakfast, we had a fruitfull chat until we finished our breakfast.
The cleaner cleaned up our table, but we still sat there chit-chatting. There was NOT crowd at all at that coffee show at that hour. Then, the coffee show lady owner approached us and chased us out for sitting and chatting only. She said something in Chinese, which according to my friend, she meant that the renting price is expensive, so if we no longer order any food/drinks, we should get out from the coffee shop.
Never in my life, I was chased out from a coffee shop in Singapore. This incident shows how stress the coffee shop owner is.
One thing for sure, I'll never ever visit that coffee shop again and thank you for that bad experience.
